Latest Updates history - QuickDog Version 2010
01/26/2010 - 10.1.1b - QuickTipper Feature has been updated so that it can manage up to 1000 files. This changes results from a problem for users of "Paul's Software" which generated CSV files via computer rather than manually so there can be a very large number of files generated.
01/14/2010 - Version 10.1.1a - Added the Pencilout commands for use with the "Trouble.Txt" file. See the help for this by clicking EDIT on the menu bar, then EDIT HELP, then look for "pencilout".
01/13/2010 - Version 10.1.1 01/13 - A problem with the update was found which was excluding races from other tracks regardless of whether or not SHIPPERS was used for the 5 basic methods. This is ANOTHER MANDATORY UPDATE.
01/11/2010 - Version 10.1.0 01/11 - A new filter has been added to the Custom Method filter display. Due to this addition, some users requested a configuration file so that all of their existing track profiles could be updated automatically by QuickDog. To use this feature, you must EDIT the file "\jaidogs\customdepth.txt". That file contains directions on what you will need to do. IF YOU USE CUSTOM METHODS you should read this file before using Version 1.0 for 2010. THIS IS A MANDATORY UPDATE of QUICKDOG!!! Happy New Year to all! This update also corrects a problem which has been found to be related to some Track Info track data. After installing this update, the user should REBUILD his/her database to correct this issue. You can use the following technique to do this simply -
1) RESTART your computer (which makes sure no QuickDog programs are running).
2) Install the update normally by clicking the button below in the update.
3) Immediately do a REBUILD of your database.
"QuickDog '10 Update Release - 0126 10.1.1b
FIREWALLS can totally shut down our software and others' software when you update. If you download this update and the software immediately shuts down, then please disable or reconfigure your firewall. Our advice is to get rid of software firewalls and just get one for your router. If you have a firewall installed but you don't understand how to control it, it is best to disable it as it will cause you more frustration than any harm it will prevent to your computer.
All updates include all changes, and you DO NOT have to download all updates, just the latest one, to be up to date!
